In this study examined the effects of digital storytelling applications in the teaching of the novel on students' academic success and of their attitudes towards Turkish language and literature. In study was carried out with convergent parallel design. The quantitative data of the research were collected within the scope of pre-test, before the test, and post-test, after the test, through the “Novel Knowledge Achievement Test”.The qualitative data of the research were collected through a semi-structured interview form. The data collected through the semi-structured interview form were evaluated through descriptive analysis. It was concluded that the use of digital storytelling in teaching of the novel positively affects academic success and students' attitudes towards Turkish literature dimension. In addition, as a result of the descriptive analysis, it was concluded that the students in the experimental group they developed a positive opinion on the use of digital storytelling.
