Artificial Intelligence Strategy in Archives

In today's world where information technologies are widely used, institutions have to follow technological developments and innovations. In recent years, new technological trends in the world and in Turkey have oriented towards artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence applications have taken many work areas under their influence and have provided an autonomous infrastructure for efficient, fast and accurate execution of business processes. Benefiting from the opportunities provided by artificial intelligence applications of archives from our cultural memory institutions will positively affect the basic business and service processes in these institutions. In this study, at first, by evaluating the foreign and domestic literature on which the artificial intelligence archive relationship is established, it is mentioned on which strategic principles the artificial intelligence applications to be developed for use in archiving of our country should be built. In this context, it is foreseen that 9 basic principles will be determined and it will contribute to the preparation of artificial intelligence strategies to be developed to be implemented in our country's archiving.
